Ultralight UPF Knit using Toray Fieldsensor™ Byokan
Moisture management and sun protection through knit structure, not a topical finish. This technology uses a multi-density knit structure that moves perspiration from your skin to the outer layer of the fabric, keeping you considerably drier. It also helps block harmful UV rays, allowing us to use a very lightweight fabric and achieve a UPF 30+ rating. Most alternatives use a topical finish, which diminishes in performance after a few washes. See the figure below to understand the technology:

I purchased the Wadi LS Hoodie based on the TORAY fabric from Japan. It is THE MOST comfortable fabric that sweat evaporates from and the welded seams are “invisible”!
