INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION 

  • The base liner stays in place and wicks away moisture.
  • The short rides on the base liner and can move during a run without rubbing against your skin.

  • With our base liners you have a choice of two fabrics and four lengths.
  • This allows you to dial in a base liner based on current weather conditions and personal preference. 

 

Technology

TORAY PRIMEFLEX™

The flex is in the spiral yarn. This configuration gives the fabric a built-in mechanical stretch that goes to all 360 degrees of adventure. Thanks to this technology, the fabric will stretch and recover without using heavier water-absorbing elastics like Spandex. Upshot: outstanding breathability, abrasion resistance and a softer feel against your skin. All this at 40% the weight of the old school stretchy stuff. PrimeFlex is both eco and techno. The fabric is partially made from a corn-based material that uses less water during processing. There’s comfort from mile one to mile one hundred.

TRIPURE™ ELASTIC

Tripure is a high tech nano fiber that delivers incredible comfort and performance. The Benchmarks are superior stretch and recovery and fined-tuned temperature regulation. Dries quickly, anti-microbial, static free and durable beyond all normal expectations. The humble waistband gets its 15 minutes of athletic fame.

It features intrinsic 360-degree stretch, exceptional shape recovery, and a soft feel against the skin — all without the use of elastic yarns that retain moisture. This allows for a highly durable and breathable short that stays light and moves with you when you're working overtime and focused on the miles ahead.

Two side hand pockets and a large rear pocket are equipped with ultra-strong reverse coil zippers that ensure your phone and fuel aren’t going anywhere without you: a customer-favorite feature for good reason.

    This is my sixth pair of Graves shorts and love the new color. These paired with the Lynx or Tahoe liners prevent chafing, have plenty of room for my phone, keys, gels, gloves and head lamp after the sun comes up. They dry quickly, feel comfortable, and look great. Hopefully, i will have one in each color soon.
