TORAY FIELDSENSOR™ Byokan
Moisture management and sun protection through knit structure, not a topical finish. This technology uses a multi-density knit structure that moves perspiration from your skin to the outer layer of the fabric, keeping you considerably drier. It also helps block harmful UV rays, allowing us to use a very lightweight fabric and achieve a UPF 30+ rating. Most alternatives use a topical finish, which diminishes in performance after a few washes. See the figure below to understand the technology:

The shirt is great, and I can’t wait to wear it on race day. However, the customer service was second to none. They gave me weeks to allow me to try on multiple pairs of shorts to be sure I had the right fit. The return portal was very easy to use and made the process so simple. I will represent this company on my first trail race, and many more to come!

After trying the wadi hoodie and returning it after one use due to faulty seams, I ordered the wadi tee since the hoodie was out of stock. Unfortunately, the wadi tee has the same weak seams after one wash and a spin in the dryer on low heat. I really wish this wasn't the case because I love the material. Two wadi products in a row have failed so I'm no longer a believer.
I do appreciate the great customer service from path projects because they stand behind their warranty. I was hoping I wouldn't have to use it so much though.
