Shorts and base liners comparison

Shorts and base liners comparison

BY PATH PROJECTS APRIL 16, 2019

We make shorts for a variety of activities, such as running, hiking, gym workouts and an active outdoor lifestyle. The main difference between our shorts is the materials, fit, length, pocket configuration, durability and weight.

All our shorts are designed on the component layering system. They do not have liners. For the best running experience, pair with one of our base liners

If you are looking for a short for running only, check out the Sykes PX 5'' or 7'' and Graves DA 7''. Want a hybrid short, the Brim FT 9'' works great as a casual, active short for hikes and short runs. The Prospect PX2 8'' is a longer roomy running short that is great for the gym.

Here is a 1 page short comparison + our shorts size guide. Below you can find our short details with images.

Joe Dudman,

I ran the Rocky Raccoon 50 miler in the Sykes PX7 and TahoeCL 5” and had zero chafing and zero issues. I love them so much I bought a second set in a different Color and plan to run Miwok 100k in them. Quality product!

Rory,

I absolutely love my Skyes PX 5”, I could definitely use another one that I’d pair with the Tahoe cx 3” base liners. I haven’t had the chance to try your base lines yet.

Brian Brownlee,

Love the Sykes PX 5" and Tahoe CL 5" combo. Used them on a 125 mile run a few week ago, and they worked flawlessly. Amazingly comfortable, only had to change out when it got cold overnight, but couldn’t wait to get them back on the next morning. Definitely part of what helped me grab the FKT, so thank you!

Brandon Baird,

Thanks for the opportunity. I’d like the Sykes PX5 & Tahoe CL3. I really want to try these. Chafing due to poor wear stinks! (Pun intended)

Anthony Leopper,

My favorite are the Sykes PX 5" short and the Tahoe CL 5" base.
