Why break with convention? Why split the running short in two, separating outer shell from liner?
In order to bring you the most innovative running gear, we did a teardown on construction,technical fabrics and the underlying functionality of each component.

What we discovered was the question “why” had plenty of compelling answers.
A system of interchangeable running shorts and base liners allowed us to dial in performance,versatility, comfort, practicality, thermoregulation, muscle support and recovery. By developing a system of three different shorts and three base liners, we have nine ways for youto personalize specs and athletic requirements.

It’s a break with design convention, but then who uses a rotary telephone or a manual typewriter?
When running, it’s always a good idea to look farther up the trail. Run forward, not backward.

INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION

The base liner waistband is larger so the short moves without shifting the base liner. Shorts have a smooth inside waistband and slide on the base liner without hindrance.

REDUCED FRICTION

The base liners are designed with fewer panels and stitch points are rotated away from friction points.
The shorts drawstrings are placed on the outside of the short to cut friction even more.

PERSONALIZED PERFORMANCE

The base liners have a choice of technical fabrics, performance curves and lengths. You dial in compression, breathability, moisture wicking and weather response.

VERSATILITY TIMES NINE

All Baseliners work with all our shorts. With nine possible configurations, you multiply versatility and practicality and yes, fashion sense.

WICKING UPGRADE

Tripure waistband wicks moisture and has superior stretch and recovery capability. By matching base liner and short, you always have the ideal set-up for wicking mastery.

A STRONGER STRETCH

Mechanical stretch fabrics reduce weight. They’re also more durable than spandex fabrics. By separating short form baseliner, you optimize stretch in 360 degrees.

SIMPLICITY

Separate baseliners mean you wash your shorts less and you pack less when traveling. Running should be effortless and so should the care and upkeep of your running apparel.
