Tim Case Boulder, Colorado - PATH projects KREW

Tim Case running

I grew up in Chicago, attended university in Minnesota and have been running since high school, though more intensively for the past several years. I began mountain running to supplement training for ski mountaineer racing (skimo) but now it has a life of its own and has also become very important to my lifestyle and wellness.

Running accomplishment(s) you are proud of

I would say this to anyone, getting out the door when the conditions are less than ideal (physically, mentally, environmentally) is the greatest achievement and drives growth in so many ways. In that respect, every run becomes and accomplishment.

Any races or adventures on your horizon and / or bucket list?

Would love to run the UTMB course someday, and really have my eyes set on some long distance races next season, provided there’s a season (fingers crossed). Getting ready for skimo racing is on the horizon, including a return to The Grand Traverse.

Your favorite PATH projects gear?

I wear a PATH Projects piece every day, most often the Cascade T and the Pyrenees hoody...and the Sykes 5” shorts are perfect for running, swimming and sleeping!

What do you enjoy about running?

Freedom of movement and the general lack of needed gear is what I love about running. Every run is different in some way and I’m always amazed at where my running fitness takes me. It’s a blessing.

Advice for runners looking to improve?

Consistency is king, for running and life. Little bits of consistency are far better than one big run and many days off.

Social channels you are most active on?

Strava and Instagram.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Many thanks to PATH Projects for supporting all runners, every day. See you out there!
