I am from North County San Diego. I started running in 2017 after going through a divorce. I pretty much went all in as couch to Ultra runner in in about a year. I started a successful running group in Carlsbad, CA called the @CCR_Crew during June of 2020. I am all about giving back and trying to help grow the running community.etitive edge back.
Running accomplishment(s) you are proud of
I qualified for the I qualified for the Boston Marathon at the 2019 CIM. I also just completed my second 100K at Zion winning my age group.
Any races or adventures on your horizon and / or bucket list?
Still waiting to run Boston and my bucket list race is the Western States 100.
Your favorite PATH projects gear?
The Sykes PX 5” shorts with the Torch 5” liner. Perfect for the long races and also wearing casually around town afterwards.
What do you enjoy about running?
I enjoy the freedom running gives me. It is my drug of choice and truly believe running saved my life. I run to be physically and mentally strong.
Advice for runners looking to improve?
Don’t compare yourself to others. Work on you and listen to your body. There is not a a short cut to became a better runner. Put in the miles and work and you will reap the rewards that some along.
