Kevin Sherman Austin, TX - PATH projects KREW
I’ve been an endurance athlete my entire life, originally as a competitive cyclist the majority of the time based in Southern CA.
When I moved back to TX I hung up the wheels and was looking for something else to retain fitness and satisfy my great love of the outdoors. I began exploring some of the local trails in Austin and absolutely fell in love with the sport of trail running.
I absolutely love the grind and putting in the time to reach my fullest potential while running and racing throughout the local Central Texas circuit on behalf of Rogue Trail and The Run Beyond Experience.
More importantly I enjoy being a part of the trail running community and always try to be a positive member. I love celebrating accomplishments, both for self and others, but even more so love the journey more than the destination.
Look forward to sharing the adventure- stay wild!

Any races or adventures on your horizon and / or bucket list?
Sky Island 50k, TranSelkirks
Your favorite PATH projects gear?
Graves & Sykes 5" are my go-to short. I use the Torch (heat) and Tahoe baseliners. Amazing combo!
What do you enjoy about running?
I love the journey, sharing time with like minded people, being a part of the community. Nothing makes me happier than getting lost on new singlerack and just feeling the flow.
Advice for runners looking to improve?
Don't focus too much on the destination, lose your attachements and focus on the now. Of the three main dimensions of training, intensity, volume and consistency, consistency is by far the most importance. Use this perspective to find your love of trail running!
Social channels you are most active on?
Anything else you’d like to share to the PATH projects community?
Stay free and enjoy the wild!
