David Fox Golden Colorado - PATH projects KREW
Hey there. I’m a Colorado native (we are rare) currently living in Golden Colorado. I founded a trail running group here by the name Golden Mountain Runners which has become a large supportive trail running community. I am also The Volunteer Director and also on the advisory board for The High Lonesome 100 race. I have a started and finished three 100 mile races and countless other races of shorted distances myself. Mostly though l, I enjoy big, long mountain adventure days with a few good friends!
Running accomplishment(s) you are proud of
I’m proud of my race finishes, but I am honestly a mid-pack runner, so I only compete with myself, not for race wins. I’m most proud of my role expanding and supporting my local running community.
Any races or adventures on your horizon and / or bucket list?
After being immersed in the planning and organizing of High Lonesome 100 (even before it was a reality) I am very excited to be running the race in 2021.
Your favorite PATH projects gear?
The Sykes short are my absolute go to running short! The pocket layout is bar none the best of any short available on the market.
What do you enjoy about running?
I love being able to cover a lot of ground in a short period of time which enables me to see some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world!
Advice for runners looking to improve?
Run in places that inspire you! The joy will make you a better runner, and if it doesn’t who cares...at least you will love what you are doing.
Social channels you are most active on?
Any running videos?
This is a ridiculous video my friends and I made as a promo for a virtual backyard ultra marathon I put on during the pandemic quarantine.
