Technology

TORAY PRIMEFLEX™

The flex is in the spiral yarn. This configuration gives the fabric a built-in mechanical stretch that goes to all 360 degrees of adventure. Thanks to this technology, the fabric will stretch and recover without using heavier water-absorbing elastics like Spandex. Upshot: outstanding breathability, abrasion resistance and a softer feel against your skin. All this at 40% the weight of the old school stretchy stuff. PrimeFlex is both eco and techno. The fabric is partially made from a corn-based material that uses less water during processing. There’s comfort from mile one to mile one hundred.

TRIPURE™ ELASTIC

Tripure is a high tech nano fiber that delivers incredible comfort and performance. The Benchmarks are superior stretch and recovery and fined-tuned temperature regulation. Dries quickly, anti-microbial, static free and durable beyond all normal expectations. The humble waistband gets its 15 minutes of athletic fame.

Our Graves short is powered by Primeflex™, a spiralized dual-polymer fabric developed by Toray in Japan. It features intrinsic 360-degree stretch, exceptional shape recovery, and a soft feel against the skin — all without the use of elastic yarns that retain moisture. This allows for a highly durable and breathable short that stays light and moves with you when you're focused on the miles ahead.

Two side hand pockets and a large rear pocket are equipped with ultra-strong reverse coil zippers that ensure your phone and fuel aren’t going anywhere without you: a customer-favorite feature for good reason.

    back phone pocket bounces too much during runs

    Zippers zip down to close. Items call fall out if you miss closing all the way

    My first Paths Project purchase, but I am very pleased. The material and construction are definitely worthy of the price. The rear center pocket will fit a large cell phone, but I have not used it for that so far. I did slide some gels on a short run. The stretch of the shorts allows for free movement and I expect they will be comfortable in the hot weather runs. I plan on adding another pair in the next few months.
