Unlike other performance fabrics, the Toray PrimeFlex has a unique spiral yarn that not only gives this fabric a built-in mechanical stretch for 360° flexibility, but it will stretch and recover without using heavier water-absorbing elastics like Spandex. It also boasts an outstanding amount of comfort, breathability, and abrasion-resistance at only 40% of the weight of the old-school stretchy stuff. Partially made from a corn-based material that uses less water during the manufacturing process, the Primeflex fabric is both environmentally conscious and technologically advanced—elevating your running experience from mile one to mile one hundred.

The best gear I ever have really important the double zipper
It's a must have for control temperature specifically in the mountains weather changes often
This week couple of days was lower than 20° F and I just had a long sleeve bamboo shirt
Compression tights & snow gloves but didn't feel the cold so really impressed for a guy that runs everyday outside in northern Nevada .

It blocks and breathes. It moves and grooves. It packs and deploys. From althe king of the gear nerds, I’ve never found a better shell to really push it on the high trails than this. I’m 200+ miles into it on high Cascade Range trails and it’s a permanent fixture with me now.

Fits well, really comfortable and looks fantastic. I'm 6"5 240lbs and this actually fit my arm/torso length unlike most jackets.

I loved the color and I'm in between a medium and a large and I chose the large for a little extra room for my thermal clothing. The jacket felt pretty thin, it was not waterproof nor windproof. Maybe I misread but I was looking for windproof and waterproof. It would definitely be a great summer jacket but going into winter, I was looking for something a little more durable to the Chicago weather.

I recently went out for a quick 5k in 40 degree fahrenheit weather and constant rain and this shell held up great. I stayed dry and didnt feel like i was overheating all. Jacket itself dries fast and is given its lightweight nature is very packable.
I am 6 foot 230lbs with a 46 inch chest and the XL fits perfectly. Jacket fits great over a tee shirt or long sleeve. Keep in mind this jacket will not keep you warm so if some more insulation is needed consider pairing with a merino wool shirt.
