I live in a dry, hot climate and am a stickler for clothes with breathability, manueverability and texture. I'm very happy to add these to my rotation of black shorts as my everyday or travel shorts. They’re comfortable enough to wear around the house all day, but if I need to make a quick run to the store, I won’t feel underdressed. I also love my 5” Graves PX for lounging and workouts, but they’re not quite right for stepping out. I already have my dressier black shorts for dinners and another pair for nights out at the bar, so these fill a perfect casual gap.

Was searching for a pair of shorts with more structure than athletic shorts that could be used interchangeably between town and on the trail in warm conditions. Wore these 3 days in a row in recent stretch of hot Chicago weather (85-90+ °F) and they seem to fit the bill (hiking/running errands/yard work). No issues with care so far (wash/dry on delicate). Fit is generally pretty good for me (thigh/inseam) although PP does not appear to use vanity sizing around the waist so you may want to consider sizing up if you are in between sizes. I am 5'8-9"ish and about 180 lbs for reference and purchased the Phantom color (looks great) in size 33.
