I had high hopes for this hat given that it's a "trucker" hat that is meant for running. Exactly what I wanted. It's marketed as Path's "largest fitting hat" and has a nominal size that is slightly larger than a Patagonia trucker hat, which fits me OK (slightly smaller than I'd prefer, but it works). The hat size in person is far off from the size advertised and certainly is not for folks with large heads. I could hardly get the hat on; it's just not big enough. Furthermore, there is not enough material at the back of the hat. Even if it did fit circumference-wise, it's awkward because the back of the hat is not tall/deep enough. The velcro closure mechanism is too limiting for folks at the extremes of the size range. Snap would be better. The headband inside the hat also felt too wide and bulky for a running hat. I love the concept of this hat and wish it could be redesigned for larger sizes and better performance. An additional aside: The high return shipping cost makes trying these products difficult.
