Inspired by the extreme environments and gear requirements of pinnacle races like UTMB Mont Blanc, we engineered the Stratus Shell to punch far above its featherlight weight to supply fully waterproof, breathable protection. Powered by Toray’s Dermizax™ technical waterproof membrane, with taped seams and PFAS-free Kudos XT DWR finish for the ideal balance of reliable weather protection and breathability for peak efforts.

Trail-Tested Technicality

We dialed in the details of the Stratus over the course of two years, with field testing feedback from three real mountain athletes. Storms can sneak up in an instant, so we added a gusset to the back panel, allowing it to fit over a running pack or hydration vest. The adjustable high-coverage hood, neck protection, velcro cuffs, and droptail back provide the extra edge of protection to keep out rain, wind, and mud splatters.

Perfect mandatory equipment for races
This is exactly what I was looking for, Super light and water proof jacket for races like UTMB and Cocodona 250 where I must carry one throughout the race whether I use it or not. I don’t need extra pockets but the jacket must protect me from the rain and cold wind when I need it. This is perfect!!
