I would say this is one of my favorite running hats along with my Ciele. It's very comfortable when worn both forward and backward, and I can feel the air, surprisingly, through the side vents. I highly recommend it. Given the form core construction of the brim, it's not moldable if that's a feature you are used to or want in a running hat. Because it's light and the brim is wide, when running into a headwind you may need to turn it around.

Quality is good. Excellent ventilation and moisture wicking. My only complaint is the bill is shorter than “standard” caps. Id like a longer brim for hiking in sunny areas.

After testing this hat on my runs this summer and on vacation in Hawaii, I can say this is the best running hat for hot weather I've tried in over 30 years of running! I especially like the wider brim for extra protection from the sun. Also pairs wonderfully with casual wear such as the James Peak shirt and Boreas Field Short. Highly recommend all!
