Technology

TORAY PRIMEFLEX™

The flex is in the spiral yarn. This configuration gives the fabric a built-in mechanical stretch that goes to all 360 degrees of adventure. Thanks to this technology, the fabric will stretch and recover without using heavier water-absorbing elastics like Spandex. Upshot: outstanding breathability, abrasion resistance and a softer feel against your skin. All this at 40% the weight of the old school stretchy stuff. PrimeFlex is both eco and techno. The fabric is partially made from a corn-based material that uses less water during processing. There’s comfort from mile one to mile one hundred.

TRIPURE™ ELASTIC

Tripure is a high tech nano fiber that delivers incredible comfort and performance. The Benchmarks are superior stretch and recovery and fined-tuned temperature regulation. Dries quickly, anti-microbial, static free and durable beyond all normal expectations. The humble waistband gets its 15 minutes of athletic fame.

Our Graves short is powered by Primeflex™, a spiralized dual-polymer fabric developed by Toray in Japan. It features intrinsic 360-degree stretch, exceptional shape recovery, and a soft feel against the skin — all without the use of elastic yarns that retain moisture. This allows for a highly durable and breathable short that stays light and moves with you when you're focused on the miles ahead.

    This is my sixth pair of Graves shorts and love the new color. These paired with the Lynx or Tahoe liners prevent chafing, have plenty of room for my phone, keys, gels, gloves and head lamp after the sun comes up. They dry quickly, feel comfortable, and look great. Hopefully, i will have one in each color soon.

    Great Versatile Shorts

    I've been running in the Sykes for years and I love them, but I wanted a short with normal pockets for certain workouts/sessions. Like everything Path Project makes, these are great. I'm 5'8" 182lbs athletic build with big legs & glutes, the Mediums in 5" Classic fit like they were custom made for me, that perfect fitted/tailored fit that doesn't flap around but moves with you through full range of motion. The pockets are great, rear fits my phone, separate fob pocket, and zipped normal front pockets (which are still fine to use when running depending on what you put in them). These are now my go-to daily training shorts, from lifting to hiking to running, and other activities where a zipped pocket is nice. My only critique is that the phone pocket seems to hold the phone lower than the Sykes, and for me that's not as comfortable.

    Big Fan of these shorts. the fit and the back pocket for the phone specifically.

    I have never been able to find a solution of where to keep my phone until Path Projects figured it out and it is perfect.
