The Sentinel Half Tight is the result of two years of research and development, leveraging the best features of our renowned running shorts to create uncompromising tights for race day PB's and ambitious mountain adventures. Built from custom ForgeKnit™ Nylon, the Sentinel Half Tight features micro-knit, ultra-fine nylon yarns for trail-ready durability and just-right compression that keeps you comfortable and your gear firmly in place.

We tapped our friend Eric Floberg, a Chicago-based runner, photographer and filmmaker, to field test prototypes of the Sentinel Tight. The result: a tight optimized for the real-world rigors of racing—and his personal best time in the half marathon.

    Perfect fit

    The half tights are as advertised. Fit very well with plenty of pocket room for what I need while running. Next test is time. How long will they last? I’ll keep you updated.

    The ultimate running short

    It’s worth mentioning that I have never worn half tights before buying these and it felt like a risk to spend $98 on running shorts, but I’m so glad I did. My experience with the Path Projects shorts systems have been so good that I figured these couldn’t be bad.

    They are outstanding. The fit is perfect, and the seaming is designed so that chafe isn’t even in the equation. The pocketing is very intuitive, secure, and easy to access on the fly.

    I love the length and the overall fit - they don’t encumber any movement or require any adjustment, it’s almost like a second skin. I’ve spent a few long runs in these in a variety of temperatures and already have another pair on order.

    I didn’t think I’d ever replace my other Path Projects shorts or liners but this might be the thing that does it!

    New Favorite Running Bottom

    I recently bought these after owning the Full Tight version this winter. I have not been disappointed! The pocket storage has been more than enough for my long runs to bring my phone, multiple gels, gloves, keys and more. As always with Path Projects, I get zero chaffing, and have found they do not move at all when wearing them. Cannot recommend them enough!

    Best Running Tights! Hands Down!

    I'm a smaller guy and struggle to find running tights that fit securely. Another leading brand that gets all the hype only has a small and fewer pockets. These come in XS which is the perfect fit. No movement. Exactly what I've been looking for. Also, my phone fits snug, lots of room for gels and more. Couldn't be happier!!

    Perfect gel carrier

    Good fit. Little tight at the bottom but loosens when running. Holds 6 gels comfortably with no bounce. 2 in back 2 on each side. Zero chafing.
