TORAY FIELDSENSOR™ Byokan

Moisture management and sun protection through knit structure, not a topical finish. This technology uses a multi-density knit structure that moves perspiration from your skin to the outer layer of the fabric, keeping you considerably drier. It also helps block harmful UV rays, allowing us to use a very lightweight fabric and achieve a UPF 30+ rating. Most alternatives use a topical finish, which diminishes in performance after a few washes. See the figure below to understand the technology:

This hooded tee utilizes a slim fit geared toward race day. For a classic fit, size up.

This hooded tee runs about 1 size smaller than our Pyrenees.

We partnered with Toray™ in Japan to develop an ultralightweight fabric that provided ample UPF protection. But the features don’t end there. The hood is designed for maximal coverage, and our signature watch-slot detail got an upgrade as well. We also utilize targeted welded seams and a streamlined race fit so you can look as good as you feel– peaking the summit or in your downhill flow state.
