TORAY PRIMEFLEX™

The flex is in the spiral yarn. This configuration gives the fabric a built-in mechanical stretch that goes to all 360 degrees of adventure. Thanks to this technology, the fabric will stretch and recover without using heavier water-absorbing elastics like Spandex. Upshot: outstanding breathability, abrasion resistance and a softer feel against your skin. All this at 40% the weight of the old school stretchy stuff. PrimeFlex is both eco and techno. The fabric is partially made from a corn-based material that uses less water during processing. There’s comfort from mile one to mile one hundred.

A vintage-inspired hat silhouette meets 21st-century performance fabric. We had a few extra yards of our capstone Primeflex™ fabric lying around the office and got to tinkering. What if we used our excess materials to make hats we’d wear day in and day out?

We dug through our collection of vintage hats to find the perfect classic silhouette and fit. One that transcends time. A true classic. We worked with our manufacturer to follow the construction and specs to a ‘T’ and couldn’t be more happy with the outcome.

  • Bonded with tricot mesh backing.
  • Low crown fit with slight curved visor.
  • Self fabric covered velcro adjustable back closure with elastic and d-ring.
  • Small HD print logo at front, interior woven label and screen print.
  • Hand wash cold water, lay flat to dry, do not tumble dry, do not bleach. During laundry, make sure to close the velcro so it's not exposed.
  • Prime Flex™ fabric from Toray Japan, assembled in China.
