Houston may not have mountain trails with vert and views like Colorado, but what we do have are great places to get out in nature with the family that are stroller friendly. Did five miles today pushing the double stroller on some decently buffed out trails. Alli & Emmy got in on the fun and ran the trails themselves after a picnic lunch. We're back on our home #mountain 🙂 Love traveling but I always try and appreciate what we have access to at home. In a couple weeks we will be off again to #imtuf100 to bring home another #ultra buckle this year. Super excited for the guaranteed #sufferfest and #views. Oh and watermelon too, of course. Spent the day with some trail brothers running the Grandfurther Mountain (virtual) 25k: epic day, wet and muddy, amazing views, challenging climbs and descents, boulder fields, ladders, more mud, a 2hr medical standby 3/4 of the way back, adventure, appreciation of this amazing mountain, laughs, lifted spirits.
